Who Is The New Girl On General Hospital?

General Hospital spoilers tease that someone full of spunk and sweetness seems to have taken over the canvas, popping up in multiple plotlines and stealing the show since debuting a year ago.  Who is this relative newbie giving the vets a run for their money in terms of airtime?

General Hospital Hint: she’s caught up in the biggest storylines currently on the front burner, and shows no signs of stopping. Who is this “new girl” in Port Charles?

General Hospital Spoilers – Katelynn McMullen has shown her talent and ability in spades since joining GH as Willow Tait

Willow Tait (Katelynn MacMullen) is the girl du jour, appearing opposite multiple major characters on the ABC soap. She’s involved in an illicit marriage scheme with Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell), going up against Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) in her custody battle and could be Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) daughter. Up until a few days ago she was in a hotter than hot romance with hunky Chase Harrison (Josh Swickard). Is there anything this force of nature can’t do?

General Hospital Comings and Goings – Willow is a strong, multidimensional character with tons of potential

Willow is beautiful and strong but also has a delicate frailty where her past is concerned. Her Achilles heel is baby Wiley and this emotional bond has driven her action to this point. It seems that all of Willow’s behavior has been influenced by her desire to protect the sweet babe.

Willow came on the scene as a schoolteacher who had given up her baby for adoption. Through this storyline she met Chase and Michael, and her relationships with them grew over time.

Eventually she came to believe that Michael’s baby, Wiley, was her baby on General Hospital, and when the truth came out that her baby had died, she was devastated.

But her connection to Wiley remains and this is why she is featured so prominently. She plans to marry Michael and co-parent the tot, at the same time fighting Nelle tooth and nail. In the past she was rumored to be Nina’s biological daughter, which is also a front burner plot. It’s not certain who will turn out to be Nina’s daughter or daughters, but we can see Willow in this role as well!

Basically Willow is a one-woman acting machine and in many fans’ opinion, the more we see of this spunky heroine on General Hospital, the better!
