Will General Hospital’s Jason’s Loyalty to the Quartermaines Doom Drew and Willow?

General Hospital Spoilers: Jason's Alliance With The Quartermaines Could Spell Trouble for Drew’s New Romance With WillowGeneral Hospital Spoilers suggest Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has settled in quite nicely at the Quartermaine estate.

It seems as though he’s comfortable there, and he’s been able to keep his dangerous professional life separate from his home life with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) was far from pleased when his twin brother moved home, and he still has every reason to worry that Jason taking up residence at the mansion could prove problematic for him.

The only hope Drew has of keeping his aspiring relationship with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) on track is if his secret tryst with Nina with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) stays under wraps.

Things Come Full Circle

Unfortunately for Drew, rumor has it that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) may soon lay their cards on the table with Jason — an apparent new ally since he told Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) he won’t go against Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and take Sonny’s grandchildren from the compound. Will Tracy’s and Ned’s newfound respect for Jason spell the end of romance for Drew and Willow?

Viewers were every bit as stunned as Tracy was when Jason told Sonny he was sorry and emphasized that while he knew the gravity of his decision and what it meant for Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) family, he still couldn’t take Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Ameila Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) away from Monica.

Tracy’s plea to Jason to choose his blood family for once over the mob boss he worked for and considered to be a brother from another mother seemed to tug at just the right heart strings to get Jason to comply.

Now, Tracy may consider him trustworthy enough to carry out the very task she hoped she would get Sonny to deploy — taking Drew out.

Furthermore, Ned has expressed his support for Jason recently, too. Do Ned and Tracy actually want to bury the hatchet with their quasi-relative, or are they playing him?

Claim This Means War

So far, Jason doesn’t know that Drew slept with Nina, but Tracy may put an end to that secrecy if she thinks it’ll get her more of what she wants from the mob enforcer with a heart of gold. With Drew out of the way, Ned and Tracy would be able to reclaim more control of ELQ.

Moreover, with Michael on their side — albeit also currently out of commission — they would stand to take back the family business and have the room to make sure they never lose control of it again.

But will Jason fall for Tracy’s ploy to unleash the truth just to use him as a pawn in her game against Drew? Perhaps he’ll go after Drew all on his own accord, much the way he did when he learned Drew slept with Willow.

Or Maybe Not

While Jason might have just given Tracy everything she wanted — even going against Sonny to do it, that doesn’t mean he’s a chump. He’s likely to see through this charade, but he’ll be on the same side that Ned and Tracy are nonetheless.

With everyone wanting Drew out of the mix, Jason may find a more reasonable and tactful way of making that happen than killing him or maiming Willow and the entire family by releasing the sordid details of the affair in the press. Will that satisfy Tracy and Ned just the same? Does Jason care? Time will tell. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers, right here, every day.
