Now that the Christmas holidays are over, Great American Family is busy releasing movies at part of its Great American Winter programming event. The first of the event airs on Saturday, January 7, 2023, with the new, original movie A Prince in Paradise. A Prince in Paradise on Great American Family
As royal content has always done well on Hallmark Channel, Great American Family is following suit. Originally titled A Royal in Paradise, the movie, A Prince in Paradise, features a romance writer looking for inspiration, and a prince seeking real love.
Meanwhile, Olivia is struggling with writer’s block after a breakup and decides to take a tropical vacation in the hope of getting some inspiration. Moreover, she had always dreamed of being a writer, as her dream to become a princess was unlikely to come true.

However, OIivia meets Prince Alexander, who needs to distance himself from his duties to marry royalty. Along the way, the Prince finds Olivia to be perceptive, witty and quite possibly one of the most interesting people he has ever met.
About the movie’s cast
According to IMDb, The role of Olivia in A Prince in Paradise is played by Rhiannon Fish, known for her roles in several Australian TV series, such as Neighbours and Home & Away. However, she also starred in the popular science fiction series, The 100. Meanwhile, Mitchell Bourke plays the role of Prince Alexander. He is an Australian stage actor who has spent quite some time working behind the scenes of such movies as Young Rock, Blacksite and season 2 of The Wilds.
Other cast members include Cara McCarthy as Kate, David Hooley as Winston and Juan Fernando Monge as Kyle. Moreover, Andrea Moor plays Queen Patricia, while Dirk Hunter plays Ridley. Meanwhile, Naomi Sequeira plays Tiffany, Kym Jackson plays Erica and Jasmine Bariu is in the role of Polly.

The Great American Family movie is directed by Adrian Powers from a script by Sophie Tilson, Caera Bradshaw and Adrian Powers. Meanwhile, executive producers are Phil Hunt, Compton Ross and Vanessa Shapiro. Deanna Claire Anderson is an associate producer, along with Sophie Tilson. Kylie Pascoe acts as co-producer, and Steve Jaggi and Kelly Son Hing are producers.
