On tonight’s When Hope Calls episode, Fletcher as well as the other mounties managed to capture most of the rustlers. However, they lacked the leader.

He managed to run off and they didn’t find him because he was hiding out. The mounties were still looking for him on Season 3. They were fanning out in the woods. They didn’t know that the leader was Jerry Huntsman or that he took Tess hostage in her home.

The guy thought he was some Robin Hood. Tess suspected he didn’t know the actual story. He was stealing from those better off to make himself better off. It wasn’t to help the poor. It also wasn’t because he planned on stopping once he enriched himself.

Unfortunately, Tess had a reasonable excuse for not being around. The other ranchers were joking about it with the mounties.

They said that if Tess had been there then she would’ve been leading the charge. She was supposed to be out of town and come back the afternoon.

No one knew she returned early. Tess also hurt herself a little bit. She admitted that she didn’t trust banks after Huntsman told her that she was going to withdraw five grand just for him. Tess should have withheld that fact and try to escape when they got to the bank.

Tess’s admission essentially told Huntsman that there was no point in going there. He rightly guessed she buried her money on her land.

He demanded to know where it was. He tore up her house. He was threatening her with bodily harm if she didn’t tell him. It was as things were looking bleak that the mounites tracked a blood trail back to her ranch. They saw blood on her porch steps.

They figured it couldn’t be Tess because she was supposed to be out of town. Thus they knew the man they were looking for had gone to her place.

The mounties knew they’d injured him. They shot him in the arm. He started to bleed out. Its what created the bloody trail they found and led them to Tess’s place.

It wasn’t until they found her keys that they realized she had been taken hostage. The mounties noticed the two horses were missing.

They began looking in earnest. Constable Reynolds even figured out something. He said his dad didn’t believe in banks and that they lost everything after he died because he buried all of his money. He then told Fletcher that a lot of the ranchers around there are the same.

The Constable was a good Mountie. When he wasn’t telling Fletcher he lost his edge that is. Reynolds has noticed a trend with Fletcher lately.

He thought Fletcher was taking a lot of risks. Both in the field and out of it. The part that remained quiet was that he thought Nora involved with those risks.

Fletcher has been dancing around that woman for some time now. He better hurry up or the knew pastor in town might sweep her off her feet. Reverend Joshua Daniels was handsome. He was kind.

Joshua managed to convinced the most miserly person in town to employ him. The same man that tried to charge Sam for his celebratory party that he didn’t even want.

He went to the party for Maggie. He finally kissed her and a simple misunderstanding with the rumor mill has him convinced that she was out of his league.

He was so depressed. He needed good counsel and maybe the good reverend could help him. He seemed to be helping Nora. One conversation for him had her looking on the brighter side.

She and her assistant both tried cases in front on disreputable judge. There was an investigation on just who was paying bribes and Nora knew she was in the clear, but having the investigation officially clear her name would be even better.

She never got the chance to talk to Fletcher about it because he got pulled away on the rustlers case. Fletcher and Reynolds managed to catch up to Huntsman with Tess’s help. She left behind clues for everyone. She also had Huntsman digging in the wrong spot.

They caught him. They arrested him. Mounties always get their man. Fletcher later returned to town to finally talk to Nora and she admitted what happened with her assistant.

Fletcher lost some points when he seemed skeptical that Nora didn’t know a judge had been bribed in her case and by her boss. It didn’t sound or feel good to Nora.

Especially as the reverend was doing so well. Sam also talked to Maggie. He kissed her again and she told him each kiss was the best ever. It helped put him at ease.

And Nora helped Ruby find her special rock that got lost. It was the rock that her mom picked out for her and that’s why it was so special.

But Hannah got even better news. She was contacted by an investor that wanted her to create a new fresh look. The ranchers gave her an idea on what it should be.

THE END!
