Beyond the Gates spoilers note that as fans anticipate Greg Vaughan’s debut on the new CBS soap, CTS has the scoop on who he’ll be playing, and his official ‘first’ airdate. Read below to learn more.
Who, What, When?
According to TV Insider, Vaughan is slated to debut on Monday, December 8, playing the role of Dr. Kial Rollins.
It looks like he’ll be the new romantic interest for recent divorcee, Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix), as the two will head out on a date during Monday’s show.
Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) may not be too pleased to learn this news; however, he’s also been flirting with nurse Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson), so perhaps it’s time they both move on.
More About Kial Rollins

Vaughan’s character, Kial, is an orthopedic surgeon who’ll have his fair share of history as he enters the land of Fairmont Crest.
He’s a widower, with two adult sons, and Vaughn tells TV Insider that Kial is a bit of a ‘nomad’, adding, “He’s not really rooted, and he’s trying to find his lane.
He comes into Fairmont Crest, and he has an association with some of the staff there at the hospital.”
Vaughan’s most recent role was in Days of Our Lives (DOOL) playing Eric Brady, and the actor was on the Peacock soap just weeks ago in November to celebrate the show’s 60th anniversary.
In fact, he discussed his Days status in more depth with TV Insider, saying he’s “open” to appearing in Salem again, as he’s not under contract with BTG.

With that said, Vaughan added, “But after day two here, it already felt like a new home, a place of being embraced.”

In addition, Vaughan played the Lucky Spencer recast at General Hospital from 2003 to 2009 and was also on The Young and the Restless as Diego Guittierez from 2002 to 2003.
