Flipping for Christmas is a new, original movie coming to Hallmark Channel as part of its popular Countdown to Christmas programming event.

Flipping for Christmas on Hallmark Channel

According to the official synopsis, Christmas is just around the corner, but ambitious realtor/designer Abigail Jones (Newbrough) has no time for holiday spirit. She has just landed a career-changing opportunity to represent DevelaCorp, the largest property development company in the city.

However, while so busy, Abigail is torn when her sister calls for help during the holidays with a “simple flip” of a recently inherited home. 

Abigail reluctantly sets off to help the family but gets a shock when she finds out the inherited house has a co-beneficiary, Bo (Rosner), the town’s contractor. Meanwhile, Abigail needs to sell the house for her sister, as she needs the money to make room for her growing family, including their dad who had just moved in.

However, for his part, Bo wants to use the house as a bed and breakfast. As he and Abigail negotiate the pros and cons of both options, her holiday spirits get lifted through their close collaboration and feels a reinvigorated sense of community.

However, Abigail unwittingly draws DevelaCorp’s attention to some local prime real estate. ~This leads to the company bidding on some vacant land to regentrify Bo’s beloved community. Meanwhile, Abigail is devastated after she reveals the impending sale to Bo, knowing this will dampen their budding relationship.

As she sets out to quash the deal and rescue the local community spirit, Abigail finds out what is truly important in life – the love of family, friends, and that special significant other, especially during the holidays.

Viewers have seen Ashley Newbrough before in Love in Glacier National: A National Park Romance and Christmas for Keeps. Meanwhile, Marcus Rosner is known for his roles in Ride and Notes of Autumn.

According to the official IMDb page, other cast members include Natalie Lisinska (The Expanse) as Claire, Eman Ayaz (Homeschooled) as Jessica and Ray Galletti (Degrassi: Next Class) as Antonio.

Meanwhile, Varun Saranga (Daniel’s Gotta Die) plays Blair, Peter MacNeill (no previous credits) plays Edward and Scott Ryan Yamamura (Space Janitors) plays John Clements.

Other cast includes Nathaniel Wainman (Hunting Grounds) as Parker, Asher Waxman (Accused) as Dylan, Kyana Teresa (Good Witch) as Chloe and Sugith Varughese (The Expanse) as Mayor Kumar.
