Ashley Wiliams and Andrew Walker star in a new, original holiday movie, Jingle Bell Run on Hallmark Channel. The movie tells the tale of a bookworm, paired up with a retired hockey player for a holiday race across the country.

Airing as part of Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas, Jingle Bell Run stars Ashley Williams and Andrew Walker. It tells the story of Avery (Ashley Williams), a self-described bookworm and teacher. Avery’s sister secretly signs Avery up for an adventure for thrill seekers, known as The Great Holiday Dash.

According to TV Insider, the race is a reality competition themed around Christmas and at first, Avery is reluctant to participate, but eventually, she does. The event requires people to work in teams, which leads to Avery pairing up with Wes (Andrew Walker) a retired hockey player.

At first, they don’t get on at all, but they soon realize they are the dream team and could win this event. Avery is good at solving puzzles, while Wes is strong and athletic. Meanwhile, the race takes them to different states, each of which has its own way of celebrating the holidays. This means that each competition is a different experience for the racers.

It doesn’t take long for a real connection is formed between these two opposites and a relationship begins to blossom. However, when Avery overhears a conversation between Wes and a show producer, this threatens to derail their budding romance. However, the duo keeps their eyes on the prize and continue to dash to the finish line. Moreover, there may just be a more personal adventure in store for Avery and Wes.
