According to the official synopsis, after losing her husband suddenly one Christmas Eve, Kaitlyn Morrison (Ashley Williams) moves away from their Colorado home to Los Angeles with her young son, Adam Morrison (Brady Droulis). She and Adam are both in search of a fresh start in life.

While Kaitlyn tries her best as a single mom, she worries about Adam. In fact, her son has become more withdrawn. Meanwhile, she knows her husband would have known just what their son needs while wishing Adam could have just five more minutes with his dad.

Kaitlyn and Adam return to Colorado to spend Christmas with her late husband’s family. However, she also has to deal with the prospect of selling the home the three of them once shared. Meanwhile, while back in Colorado, she becomes acquainted with Matthew (Lucas Bryant), a local contractor and old friend of her late husband. He has been tapped by a local developer to present an offer to purchase their home.

Moreover, as Kaitlyn weighs her options with both real estate and what’s next in life, she and Matthew spend time together. Due to this, feelings begin to develop between them. Meanwhile, Kaitlyn is thrilled to see Adam get involved in the local Christmas festivities. He even comes up with a fundraising idea for the local food bank.

While Kaitlyn has big decisions to make that affect her and Adam’s lives, the answers she needs come in an unexpected way.

Ashley Williams, who plays Kaitlyn, has previously been seen in The Jim Gaffigan Show and Two Tickets to Paradise. She leads opposite Lucas Bryant as Matthew and is known for his roles in Haven and The Angel Tree. Kaitlyn’s son Adam, is played by Brady Droulis who has been seen in Inventing the Christmas Prince.

According to the official IMDb page, Fred Henderson plays the role of Grandpa Howard and is known for his roles in Final Destination 2, This Means War and Stargate SG-1. Meanwhile, Carey Feehan plays John Turner and has starred in The Bridge, The Christmas Cottage and A Good Story.

Francesca Bianchi, who plays Maddy, and Darlene Tait (A Rose for Christmas, Hotel Manager, Super Bingo, Agnes) plays Grandma Rose. Meanwhile, Matt Montgomery (Batwoman, Dancin’ Man, Wildhouse) plays Santa. Aiyanna Miorin (Santa’s Boots, See) is in the role of Skye Brown. Moreover, Victoria Souter plays Jenny and has been seen in Bucketheads and The Neighbor in the Window.
