Originally, Candace Cameron Bure played the role of Aurora Teagarden, but Hallmark fans were thrilled to see the movie series continue with a prequel starring Skyler Samuels as Aurora Teagarden.

Now, Hallmark+ is releasing the second in the prequel series, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Death At The Diner. Read on for more details of the mystery movie and its cast.

Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Death At The Diner launching on Hallmark+

The second prequel in the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries franchise stars Skyler Samuels and Evan Roderick. Moreover, Marilu Henner (from the original series) is back as Aida. Moreover, there is a special guest star, with Kimberley Sustad appearing in the movie.

According to IMDb, Aurora is struggling to write her thesis paper, but luckily she also has something to look forward to – her six-month anniversary with her boyfriend, Daniel.

The couple has a special dinner planned, but she accidentally left her phone at the diner. Aurora and Daniel plan to meet there before they enjoy their big date. When she got there, Aurora did find her phone. However, she also found the body of the diner’s owner, stabbed in the back.

What makes things truly awful is that Daniel is the main suspect in the murder case, but Aurora knows he didn’t do it. However, the question is, who did kill the owner? Meanwhile, the events of the day offer Roe a long list of suspects. Aurora starts to figure out the clues and luckily, Sally is there to help her.

Meanwhile, the script was written by David B. Grelck, while Jessica Harmon directs the movie. Both Grelck and Harmon were behind the first prequel, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Lesson In Murder.

Of interest to note, with the latest Aurora Teagarden movie, Marilu Henner has now officially starred in 21 Hallmark mystery movies. She now tops Peter Bensen, who was also in the original movies with Bure.
