The Gift of Peace on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

The new DaySpring movie, The Gift of Peace, is set to premiere soon on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. According to the official synopsis, the new, original movie tells the story of Traci (Nikki DeLoach), an artist who was once a devout Christian. However, after her husband tragically died despite her prayers, she stopped believing in God.

As her second Christmas without her husband approaches, her creative spark has dimmed right before her important Christmas Eve gallery showing. Missing her husband and seeking renewed inspiration, Traci joins a support group one night, only to find out it is a faith-based gathering. Realizing she has chosen the wrong support group, Traci abruptly leaves.

However, while Christmas shopping a few days later, she runs into Michael (Brennan Elliott), the leader of the group, and apologizes for running out. Meanwhile, Michael convinces her to give the support group another try, and if she still feels the same way, she doesn’t have to stay beyond Christmas.

While she is skeptical, Traci agrees. As she participates in Christmas activities related to each week’s theme of comfort, peace, hope and joy, she bonds with the vibrant spiritual community and her art becomes more inspired. In fact, Traci finds the strength to keep moving forward and to open her heart again, realizing that true faith is more than just answered prayers and that love always surrounds us.
