Following Yonder Star on Hallmark Channel
According to TV Insider, Following Yonder Star is a faith-based DaySpring movie airing as part of Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2024.
The movie’s plot tells the story of Abby Marshall (Brooke D’Orsay) a television actress known as an “inspirational mother.” However, when a scandal strikes, Abby needs a quick getaway and decides to head to Vermont.
However, on arrival, she finds that her room at a luxury resort has been double booked and there are no other hotels close by. It turns out this is because a rare astronomical event is about to happen, with a beautiful star that mirrors the Star of Bethlehem. Rather like a famous story, there is only one place left and that is at an inn.
Meanwhile, the inn is owned by a widower named Tom (John Brotherton), who is a single father. Tom is in charge of the town’s Christmas pageant and soon, Abby finds herself helping him out, while in return, her life is also helped by this small gesture.
