Hallmark Channel – Aurora Teagarden: Haunted by Murder mother and daughter duos
On Tuesday, Candace Cameron Bure, 45, posted on Instagram to share a clip for her latest Hallmark Movies and Mysteries movie, Aurora Teagarden: Haunted By Murder. The new movie features Bure’s daughter in the role of her younger self as Aurora Teagarden and she isn’t alone, as Lexa Doig’s daughter is also starring.
In her post, the Full House alum wrote, “Who doesn’t love a good flashback in a movie? new Aurora Teagarden: Haunted By Murder premieres Sunday at 9/8c on @hallmarkmovie.” Candace continued, writing, “Did @lexadoig and I mention that our daughters are in this one?” adding the hashtag #proudmama.
In the video clip, Bure explains that the film opens on young Aurora, young Sally and young Arthur. She added that two of these actors are being played by their own daughters.
“I think it’s going to be really interesting for the audience to see Aurora and Sally as teenagers and when all of it started,” she added.
For her part, Natasha said how being a part of this movie is “so thrilling” as she gets to play the younger version of Aurora, played by her mother.
Hallmark Channel – About The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Film
According to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, the plot of the movie involves a murder investigation that is “reignited in a house that is considered haunted by the Lawrenceton locals.” However, this same location is where Aurora and Sally had previously found a body during their teenage years.
Besides Candace and Natasha, Lexa Doig, Mia Shanks, Niall Matter and Marilu Henner also star in this 18th episode of the Aurora Teagarden series.
Meanwhile, Natasha is following in her famous mom’s footsteps by building a Hollywood career all of her own. She recently starred opposite Heather Locklear in the Lifetime movie, Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story.

It turns out Natasha auditioned for The Voice back in 2016 and initially made it onto Adam Levine’s team. However, she was eventually knocked out of the competition, while losing to Riley Elmore.
Natasha recently spoke about this on Olivia Jade Giannulli’s Conversations with Olivia Jade podcast. She said she didn’t even want to go on the show at all. Meanwhile, the only reason she did go on was because of something her mom, Candace, told her.
Natasha described her mom as saying, “If there’s an opportunity that comes and it scares you, you should say yes, just because it scares you.” She added that the opportunity came to her when she was in high school so she said to herself, “Well, this is the perfect time to take that advice.”
Natasha continued, saying, “I did it and I had the worst nerves of my life. Both performances I sobbed my eyes out 10 minutes before I went on. It was so out of my comfort zone — not the music part, but to be judged in that capacity. It really terrified me to know everyone is going to watch this.”
While she has no fond memories of the experience on The Voice, she does acknowledge that doing the show as a “good growing experience” for her.
Aurora Teagarden: Haunted by Murder premieres on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 9 pm ET/PT.
