I am a firm believer in donations to worthy causes! When my daughter died last year, I told family and friends not to send flowers or plants, but to donate to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, an organization that trains guide dogs for the blind. It takes 2 or 3 years to train a guide dog for a blind person, and that cost of training can cost anywhere from $20,000 to $50,000 to train, feed, care for, and give medical help, such as vaccines and injuries to the dog being trained! I hope this charity received a lot of donations in my daughter's memory, because she loved dogs! Good luck, Candace, with your skip1org charity!
