Carlos And Alexa PenaVega Sign New, Multi-Picture Deal With Hallmark

Exciting news for fans of the real-life acting couple, Carlos and Alexa PenaVega, as they sign a new deal with Hallmark Media. In recent months, many Hallmark stars have jumped ship, moving over to the rival company, Great American Family. However, one fan-favorite couple is staying with Hallmark. In fact, the fan-favorite stars, Carlos and Alexa PenaVega are not only staying but have inked a new, multi-picture, overall deal with Hallmark Media.

As noted by Deadline, Alexa has been starring in Hallmark movies since 2014. Meanwhile, her husband, Carlos joined in 2017. The couple’s most recent movie, Love in the Limelight, premiered in August this year as part of the network’s Fall Into Love programming event.

Since inking the deal with Hallmark, Carlos and Alexa have released a joint statement. In fact, they expressed their excitement over the new deal and explained why they signed it.

Hallmark has become a second home for our family. Over the last four years, they have given us opportunities to grow as actors and producers, all while raising our children, even if it means having the family on set! Developing projects alongside them has been a highlight of our careers thus far. We are thrilled to be able to continue creating content that is family-friendly and current while maintaining its core values that we love so much. Hallmark is special, and we are looking forward to many more projects together.

Fans are no doubt thrilled to hear that the PenaVegas are staying put and wonder if they will star together in a new Hallmark movie franchise.

However, the couple also has business ventures outside the feel-good channel. Carlos has returned to making music with Big Time Rush and will join their comeback tour in February next year. Meanwhile, Alexa has been making several movies recently and also voiced Nickeldeon’s animated series, The Casagrandes. Moreover, the PenaVegas recently released their book, What if Love is the Point.

Of course, it isn’t just the PenaVegas that are signing new deals with Hallmark. Earlier this year, Lacey Chabert signed an overall deal, along with Brennan Elliot and more. The channel may have lost several of its stars, but a number of fan favorites have chosen to stay.
