Celeste Desjardins & Marcus Rosner In An Ice Palace Romance On Hallmark

Hallmark Channel has announced the premiere of the original movie, An Ice Palace Romance starring Celeste Desjardins and Marcus Rosner.

The movie tells the story of a TV news reporter who takes a major assignment which turns into a journey of reflection and self-discovery. Read on to find out more about the movie and its cast, and view beautiful images taken on the film set.

According to the official synopsis of the movie, former dancer and ice-skater turns TV news reporter, Lori Marshall (Celeste Desjardins) believes her holiday wish of landing a managerial position in a new division at work, could soon be a reality.

To land this dream job, she must cover the closing of the Ice Palace, a historic skating rink and training center in her hometown of Greenhill, Michigan. Despite having bad memories of the establishment, Lori reluctantly takes the assignment and heads home to hopefully secure the promotion.

En route, Lori encounters Mark Johnson (Marcus Rosner) and his daughter Zoe (Acacia Hanvelt) an aspiring skater. However, unbeknownst to her, Mark owns the Ice Palace which, without major renovations will soon be condemned.

The more Lori explores her story, the more she realizes the importance of the Ice Palace to the small-town community. She also realizes how much it means to Mark to keep it in his family, and her passion for ice skating is reignited.

However, when forced to take on a more personal angle in her story by delving more into Mark’s heart, she finds herself torn. Could the finished version of her story turn out to be the final chapter of the Ice Palace and end any budding romance?

Celeste Desjardins, who plays Lori, has previously starred in Taken and Fashionably in Love. Meanwhile, she leads with Marcus Rosner as Mark, who is known for his roles in Arrow and Romance to the Rescue.

Mark’s daughter Zoe is played by Acacia Hanvelt, who has previously starred in Three Pines.

According to the official IMDb page for the movie, other cast members include Joey Coleman (Supernatural) as Chad Reynolds and Julia Dyan (The Boys) as Susan. Meanwhile, Jennie Esnard (Christmas Jars) plays the role of a Dance Instructor and Kiril Mitev (The Expanse) plays Ken. Mary Long (Sailor Moon) as Mayor June and Tim Progosh (Spotlight) as Ronald.
