Chesapeake Shores Season 4 Finale Recap: David Proposes To Jess – Trace and Abby Kiss

Chesapeake Shores season 4 finale recap Sunday, September 29, 2019, reveals Emma Rogers (Lanie McAuley) is singing at The Bridge. Mark Hall (Jerry Trimble) stops by and speaks to Chase Riley (Jesse Metcalfe). Mark offers to pay Trace to produce Emma’s songs. Emma is eager for Trace to produce her songs. Trace tries to talk Emma out of this plan.

Chesapeake Shores Recap – Emma Rogers Moves To Nashville

Emma asks Trace to think about it, he agrees. Emma is upset that Trace thinks she needs to work in Nashville and not Chesapeake Shores. Jay Ross (Greyston Holt) and Abby O’Brien (Meghan Ory) stop by and speak to them. Emma asks Trace if he still has feelings for Abby. Trace wants Emma to check out open mic nights in Nashville. Abby and Jay get up to leave and say goodbye on the way out. Trace gives Emma a list of friends in Nashville she can trust. Chase plans to build his recording studio, just not right now. Emma thanks Trace for believing in her. Trace needs to follow his dreams. Emma needs to follow hers.

David Peck And Jess O’Brien Have Trouble

Chesapeake Shores’ David Peck (Carlos Marks) and Jess O’Brien (Laci J. Mailey) are having the grand opening of the inn. Jess finds a jewelers box and tries to cover finding it. Jess and David return to their guests. David and Jess are in the garden planting flowers. David asks Jess about parking arrangements. A city official arrives and accuses Jess and David of operating an inn without a license.

David and Jess are given a fine. Bree O’Brien (Emilie Ullerup) stops by to check on Jess. Jess explains that David is arguing with city hall. Jess decides to take on city hall. Jess talks to the city official as David and Bree talk inside. The city official congratulates David and Jess before leaving. Jess tells David they are back in business. David bakes a pie for Jess and puts an engagement ring inside. David proposes to Jess, she accepts.

Chesapeake Shores’ Mick O’Brien (Treat Williams) and Abby talk about the company. Mick asks Abby to become a full-time partner. Abby tells Jay about her father’s offer. Jay and Abby discuss going on a date sometime. Jay and Abby discuss their relationship. Abby wants to take things slow. Abby, Jess, and Bree are talking when Trace interrupts. Trace tells Abby about the recording studio. Trace asks Abby about Jay. Jay arrives with flowers. Trace and Abby say goodbye. Abby joins Jay.

Kevin O’Brien And Sarah O’Brien’s Reception

Chesapeake Shores’ Nell O’Brien (Diane Ladd) is helping plan food for a get-together. Connor O’Brien (Andrew Francis), Kevin O’Brien (Brendan Penny), and Sarah O’Brien (Jessica Sipos) join them. Kevin and Sarah discuss children. Sarah’s family joins them at the firehouse. Connor talks with Nelle about his life and changes. Connor tells Nell she is a genius and he leaves. Sarah talks to Kevin about her childhood. Connor goes to a meeting in Baltimore. Connor points out important details that way missed.

Connor says everything has an expiration date. Connor says you have to realize when something is over. Connor starts work Monday at eight. Connor tells Thomas O’Brien (Gregory Harrison) about his new job. Connor thanks Thomas for his support. Connor wants to see what he can do on his own. Thomas asks Connor if he considered why this company wanted him. Thomas warns Connor that his new boss will attack her own team at any time. Everyone gets together for Kevin and Sarah’s reception. Nelle makes a speech. Nelle asks Mick to make a toast.

Megan O’Brien Plans Her Art Studio

Chesapeake Shores’ Mick and Megan O’Brien (Barbara Niven) are shopping. Megan buys paints so she can begin painting again. Mick later meets with Thomas and they discuss lawsuits. Thomas is giving Connor a light load on purpose. Megan and Mick talk about sitting up her studio for work. Kevin arrives to speak to his parents. Kevin tells his parents he and Sarah are discussing having kids. Kevin and Sarah agree to go to Hawaii for their honeymoon. Kevin wants to go to Sarah’s family’s home for Christmas.

Bree O’Brien Gets An Agent

Chesapeake Shores’ Bree meets with Hannah Urso (Marci T. House) and Brian Higgins (Peter Benson) arrives. Brian is surprised Bree did this on her own. Bree doesn’t know what she wants to do next. Brian invites Bree to lunch. Bree meets with Abby and Jess and tells them about the meeting with Brian. Abby tells them about Mick’s offer and Jay’s date request. The ladies decide they need to get a life. Jess tells Bree and Abby about the ring she found. Bree has lunch with Brian and they discuss her career. Bree wonders why she needs an agent. Brian wants to know where Bree plans to be in ten years. Bree’s opening night is a success. Brian has booked Bree’s next job. Bree’s play is going to London.

A Reunion In The Works?

Chesapeake Shores’ Trace sings on the beach and Abby joins him. Trace asks what Abby is doing there. Abby asks Trace about the song. Trace tells Abby he isn’t giving up on them. Trace and Abby kiss.
