My Grownup Christmas is the first new and original movie in the programming event. Meanwhile, the movie stars When Calls the Heart alums, and real-life partners, Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry.
According to the official synopsis, Taylor Nichols is a successful journalist, who returns home after her mother’s passing a few years before, to help her grandfather with his Christmas store. Meanwhile, Luke Malone has just returned home from military duty to enjoy the holidays with his family. When Taylor and Luke meet, their chemistry is undeniable and the movie follows their story as they go from a warm friendship to a budding romance.
Meanwhile, the script is based on the Amy Grant/David Foster holiday hit song of the same name.
