It’s Back To Christmas At Hallmark
Hallmark Channel has scheduled a movie marathon starting Friday afternoon, March 20 beginning at noon ET. The 27 movie marathon will begin with Candace Cameron Bure’ A Christmas Detour and will last through March 22 at six p.m. ending with Lacey Chabert’s Christmas In Rome.
Other Movies Include Some Favorite Stars
Hallmark’s Christmas Movie Marathon Line up will include other Hallmark favorites such as Matt Cohen, from General Hospital and Supernatural in Holiday Date, Days of Our Lives’ Jen Lilley in Mingle All The Way, and General Hospital’s Ryan Paevey in Christmas At The Plaza. Fans of Chabert, Bure’ and Danica McKellar will certainly be thrilled with this weekend as they are featured in several of the movies this weekend.
A Treat Before Christmas In July
Hallmark fans usually have to wait until July for our Christmas movie marathon when Hallmark features Christmas movies in their Christmas In July special. However, with production on Hallmark shows and movies at a standstill, Christmas in The Coronavirus Crisis may be just what the doctor ordered. After fans have been asked to self-quarantine and the stars not getting to work, perhaps this movie marathon can lighten all of our spirits and bring us out of the funk that most of the world is in while waiting for their lives to return to normal.
What More Can We Do To Help Entertain Ourselves?
Hallmark’s Christmas Movie Marathon could have us all wanting Christmas dinner complete with hot chocolate as we curl up in our favorite chairs and enjoy this unexpected treat. So while families are huddled up in their homes watching movies, perhaps it would be a good time to play some games and have a good meal and reconnect as a family.
No one is saying go out and buy Christmas gifts and add a new holiday but perhaps this virus and a feel-good movie weekend will help us all appreciate our families and our health. After all, there are worse things than watching Christmas movies while longing to get out and enjoy spring.
It may be too warm to cuddle up with a fire and watch the snowfall but nothing puts us in a good mood better than a Hallmark Christmas Movie Marathon. Thank you Hallmark Channel for trying to break the monotony of self-quarantine.
