Could There Be A Hallmark “His & Hers” Sequel? Brennan Elliott Talks About Possibility Of Working With Lacy Chabert Again

On Saturday, September 7 actors Brennan Elliott and Lacey Chabert premiered their 10th Hallmark movie together, His & Hers. The movie has gone over very well with fans, which has created a buzz about a potential sequel. Elliott recently had an interview with TV Insider, and here’s what he had to say.

For those who may not have seen the film, which debuted during Hallmark’s Fall Into Love month, it’s about married attorneys Dana and Mark, who are opposing lawyers during the divorce of a high-profile reality TV couple.

During Brennan’s TV Insider interview, the idea of a sequel was brought up. Elliott noted that “a couple of” other films could be made, or it could even turn into a weekly thing. He said they’d have to “finagle” a bit, and potentially move things around.

Maybe not always have things be a divorce case but have “other cases”. Brennan added that Dana and Mark could be police consultants or work with law enforcement. He goes on to say that he loves the idea.

“His & Hers” Possible Sequel – Something Different From The Hallmark Norm

It sounds like Elliott sees all sorts of possibilities for a His & Hers sequel. He tells TV Insider that it’s uncommon within the “Hallmark Universe” for fans to see, but he does like the idea of two people battling it out, living in a healthy family experience as partners and parents, being in love, and all those other things that go with that kind of personal experience.

Meanwhile, he also commented on him and Chabert working together again, and he noted that he just spoke to Lacey “the other day” and the two are always trying to find something to do together.

As Hallmark+ has just launched, the streaming service is likely looking to add to its content library by creating special programming just for the platform. As such, there’s a good chance something is on the horizon for these two!
