A Mediterranean love story is coming to Hallmark Channel with Danielle C. Ryan and Rafael Kariotakis in the lead roles.

According to the official synopsis, the new, original movie A Greek Recipe for Romance tells the story of a young woman who travels to Greece after losing her job at a New York City hotel. Abby (Danielle C. Ryan) heads to Greece after not getting the promotion she expected but was laid off instead. She plans to spend time with her mother (Peru Kavalieri) to decide her next steps.

However, once there, Abby meets Theo (Rafael Kariotakis) a talented young chef with an air of mystery around him, who has a passion for food. Meanwhile, Theo also grapples with questions about his future and dreams of opening his own restaurant. His father Nikolas (Argiris Gkagkanis) pressures him to give up on his culinary dreams and take over the family business.

As Abby prepares herself for a new job opportunity that comes up while she is in Greece, she teams up with Theo to help him reopen his late mother’s old family restaurant. Through this, she will get the restaurant experience she needs, while Theo will have the chance to showcase his prowess in the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Abby and Theo make a perfect pair as they navigate the ups and downs of building a business, despite increasing pressure from Theo’s wealthy father to shut down and return home to Athens. As it becomes clear that they are falling in love with each other, they could be cooking up a romance that neither of them expected.
