Ms. Christmas Comes To Town on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries
According to the official synopsis, Ms. Christmas Comes To Town tells the story of a home-shopping TV host who sets out on the ultimate farewell tour. A once-aspiring movie starlet, Gale Storm (Barbara Niven) finally found fame as Ms. Christmas, the fan-favorite host of the Holiday Shopping Channel (HSC). However, after she receives a terminal diagnosis just before the holiday season, Gale decides to retire so she can sign off the airwaves on her own terms.
However, the network wants to send her off in style, kicking off the Ms. Christmas is Coming to Town Tour. Meanwhile, the tour gives Gale the chance to travel from city to city as she shines the spotlight on local products. Moreover, along the way, she brings Christmas cheer and surprises the way only Ms. Christmas can.
However, concerned about Gale’s well-being during her tour, the network insists on having Travis (Brennan Elliott), a travel nurse, accompany her and Gale reluctantly agrees. Meanwhile, Gale and Amanda (Erica Durance), her director of operations and hand-picked successor dubbed Ms. Holiday, have known each other for many years. In fact, they are more like mother and daughter than co-workers.
Despite this, Gale is reluctant to share her diagnosis with Amanda, so Travis poses as the network head’s godson, who is just coming along to learn the business. As the festive RV travels from town to town, plenty of Christmas cheer is spread. Moreover, lessons are learned, while love blossoms, possibly even for Gale. This comes as her former fiancé, James (Mark Brandon) unexpectedly arrives at one of their stops. While Gale isn’t sure they can rekindle their romance, this could just be exactly what the doctor ordered.
