Unexpected Grace on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
According to the official synopsis, Grace (Erica Tremblay) unexpectedly finds a message tied to a balloon, written by a girl named Toni (Sophia Powers). It turns out Toni was looking for a friend, so Grace eagerly responds, letting Toni know she is new in town and has been trying to find her place there.
Meanwhile, Toni’s mother, Noelle (Erica Durance) receives Grace’s note and is touched by it. However, when she responds, she can’t find it in her to share that her daughter suddenly passed away two years prior. Noelle and Grace’s correspondence eventually leads to an in-person meeting, where Noelle then meets her father, Jack (Michael Rady). As the three of them spend time with each other, the friendship between Noelle and Grace leads them on an unexpected journey.
