Hallmark Movies & Mysteries have announced a new, original movie, Christmas Bedtime Stories. The movie is part of the network’s annual Miracles of Christmas programming event and stars Erin Cahill, Steve Lund and Charlie Weber. Christmas Bedtime Stories on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
According to the official synopsis, Christmas Bedtime Stories tells the tale of Danielle (Erin Cahill), who is left to raise her daughter Audrey (Alice Comer). Her husband, Colby (Charlie Weber) is MIA and is presumed dead during a military deployment overseas.
Three years later, Danielle has managed to move on and has recently become engaged to an old friend, Pierce Baker (Steve Lund). However, when Audrey hears of an upcoming father-daughter dance at school, she is feeling out of place and starts to ask questions about her dad.

Danielle starts telling Audrey bedtime stories about her father, which soon becomes a ritual. Meanwhile, Audrey is rapt each night, and through her mother’s memories, is able to envision her father as a flesh-and-blood hero.
However, as Danielle tells Audrey the stories, she begins to see signs that leave her feeling unsettled about Colby. As Danielle and Audrey go to a dance together on Christmas Eve, Danielle continues to question why her love for Pierce doesn’t feel the same as her love for Colby. If only she could receive a sign.

Meanwhile, Charlie Weber, who plays Colby, has starred in How to Get Away with Murder and As They Made Us. Steve Lund, who plays Pierce Baker, has been seen in A Mrs. Miracle Christmas and Schitt’s Creek. Alice Comer who plays Audrey is known for her role in Open by Christmas.

The new original film comes from Bedtime Stories Productions Ltd., with Nancy Grace and Josh Sabarra as executive producers. Meanwhile, the producers are Vicki Sotheran and Greg Malcolm. Christmas Bedtime Stories is directed from a script by Andrea Canning, based on a story by Nancy Grace and Josh Sabarra.
