Erin Krakow & Robert Buckley Star In Blind Date Book Club On Hallmark

Hallmark Channel has announced a new, original love story starring Erin Krakow and Robert Buckley. Blind Date Book Club tells the story of a bookstore owner and a published author down on his luck.

The movie is set to premiere on April 6 as part of the feel-good network’s annual Spring Into Love programming event. Read on to find out more about this upcoming movie and see images taken on the film set.

Romance in Blind Date Book Club on Hallmark Channel

According to the official synopsis, Blind Date Book Club tells the story of a bookstore owner who finds love and direction in life when she agrees to have a famous author’s new novel reviewed by her book club.

Meg Tompkins (Erin Krakow) is torn between taking over her late mother’s bookstore or pursuing another career. At the bookstore, Meg starts a successful “blind date book club.”

The idea of the club is for readers to pick a book, mysteriously wrapped in brown paper, with only a few key descriptors on it. Meg then hosts interactive discussions where all the book club members get to talk about her book of choice.

Meanwhile, book writer Graham Sterling (Robert Buckley) receives hard advice about his most recent manuscript. Graham hears an interview with Meg on the radio, about her new blind date book club, and seeks her out to audition his new novel.

Meanwhile, Graham has been advised to not write about a subject on which he knows nothing, which is also Meg’s recommendation. However, against her better judgment, Meg agrees to have Graham’s new book as part of the club. When spending time together, Meg and Graham begin to grow close, all the while discovering each other’s true happiness.

Krakow, who plays Meg, is famous for her role in When Calls the Heart and The Wedding Cottage. Meanwhile, Robert Buckley, who plays Graham, is known for his roles in Chesapeake Shores and The Christmas House 2: Deck Those Halls.

According to the official IMDb page for the movie, other cast members include Hilary Jardine (Van Helsing and Homeland) Lizzy and Paolina van Kleef (The Last of Us and The Night Agent) plays Stella.
