Erin Krakow Thrilled When Calls The Heart Renewed For Season 10

When Calls The Heart spoilers and updates tease that fans, as well as the cast and crew, are all excited to learn that the show has been renewed for season 10. Erin Krakow, who plays the role of Elizabeth Thornton shared that she is “thrilled after learning about the good news.

It’s been a month since When Calls The Heart Season 9 ended. Many fans were worried that the show may not be renewed because the network has made no announcement about its renewal. Now, they can all breathe a sigh of relief after knowing that their bellowed show will be returning soon.

When Calls The Heart – Hallmark Announces Renewal

Hallmark Channel announced the renewal of When Calls The Heart for Season 10 on June 17. Not only that, the show will have a new showrunner, Lindsay Sturman, who’s known for her work in Supergirl.

“When Calls the Heart continues to push the limits as to what we can achieve with this show,” Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice President, Programming, Crown Media Family Networks said.

“There are many more stories still to be told about the lives of the beloved characters in this series and we cannot wait for everyone at home to tune in to see what unfolds,” she said in a statement.

When Calls The Heart – Erin Krakow Celebrates Show’s Season 10 Renewal

Krakow immediately took to the Twitter universe after learning about the show’s season 10 renewal. In her post, she posted a photo of herself along with Ben Rosenbaum, Kevin McGarry, and Kayla Wallace on Twitter.

“Celebrating the great S10 news from Italy! We’re thrilled!!!,” the actress wrote in the caption.

Krakow, who also serves as the show’s executive producer, said that she’s thrilled that When Calls The Heart is returning for another season. The actress is looking forward to more adventures and stories of romances as the cast, crew and the show’s talented writers all work together.

“We are so excited for all the viewers, especially the Hearties, to continue this journey with us!” Krakow said.

Season 9’s finale ranked as the most-watched episode of the season in homes with 2.6 million viewers. The show also ranked as the most-watched original scripted series on ad-supported cable in homes this year. Season 9 reached more than 8.6 million unique total viewers.
