Evan Williams (Versailles, Christmas Takes Flight) is the latest member of the cast of the Hallmark series The Way Home. Evan Williams joins cast of The Way Home on Hallmark
It was recently reported that Hallmark Channel was launching a new primetime drama series with a time-travel twist. Following this announcement, the female leads in the series were announced, including Andie McDowell, Chyler Leigh and Sadie LaFlamme-Snow. Now, Hallmark has added its first male lead in the form of Evan Williams. According to Deadline, Williams plays the role of Elliot Augustine.
As previously reported, the drama series tells the story of three generations of Landry women. MacDowell plays Del, Chyler is Kat and Sadie is in the role of Alice, the youngest in the group.

Evan Williams plays Elliot Augustine, a high school friend of Kat’s in Port Haven, New Brunswick. Fast forward to now, and Elliot is a science teacher at the school and Alice (Laflamme-Snow) is one of his pupils. In the past, Elliot had a major crush on Kat McDowell but never said anything. These days, his feelings seem to be contained as the pair are close friends despite almost 20 years apart.
Meanwhile, it turns out Elliot is instrumental in Alice learning more about her family history. At first, she is reluctant to uncover any information. Despite this, the more Alice learns, the more she wants to know about her family’s past.
Tragic history of the Landry family in The Way Home
It turns out the family’s tragic history was what made Alice’s mother (Leigh) leave Port Haven for good. However, now, Alice is given the opportunity to discover the truth and start healing. In fact, the lessons she learns are essential for the three generations of the Landry woman to grow. What will Elliot reveal that changes Alice’s mind and attract her back to Port Haven?

When does The Way Home premiere on Hallmark Channel
As yet, no premiere date has been announced for the new Hallmark Channel drama series. So far, all we know is that it will be released in 2023. Another new Hallmark series, Ride, is likely to drop in February 2023. Possibly, The Way Home will premiere around August next year, or in the late spring after season 1 of Ride is over. However, the series already started filming in Toronto two weeks ago.
