Hallmark+ renews Finding Mr. Christmas for season 2
Deadline reports that Hallmark+ has been renewed for season 2, with Jonathan Bennett again at the helm. For those who missed it, the reality series puts 10 potential Hallmark Hunks through their paces with holiday-related tasks.
Moreover, they were taste-tested by Nikki DeLoach, who got to kiss all the hunks. Meanwhile, season 1’s winner got to star in a lead role in Happy Howlidays with Jessica Lowndes.
Season 1 may be over and done, but the show’s host, Jonathan Bennett is teasing more to come. Moreover, this is the first Hallmark+ original reality series to be renewed for a second season. Moreover, the Mean Girls alum promises plenty more to come.
What will happen in season 2 of the reality series?
Monday saw Hallmark gifting Finding Mr. Christmas season 2 to fans. Reportedly, the network made the decision just two days after the premiere of Happy Howlidays, which starred the winner, Ezra, along with Jessica Lowndes. Meanwhile, the second season will premiere on Hallmark+ in 2025, likely when the Countdown to Christmas 2025 kicks off.
Moreover, Bennett and Ben Roy created the show, and Jonathan gushed about the renewal, saying:
Bringing this show to life was such a dream come true. They’re definitely more stories to be told in Season 2 and so much more fun to be had. We’re just scratching the surface here.
As for the show itself, it is a major hit that has helped launch Hallmark’s rebranded streaming channel. Hallmark Media’s Executive Vice President of Programming, Lisa Hamilton Daly said:
We are thrilled at the success of the first season and are proud to have created a reality competition series with heart at its core.
Meanwhile, since the reality show launched on Hallmark+, fans haven’t stopped talking about it. To be fair, the cuteness overload in the series was enough to make it a major hit. In each episode, contesting had to work with puppies, dance, Haul Christmas trees and, naturally, give Nikki DeLoach the perfect kiss.
As Jonathan Bennett promises fans “more” in season 2, we know not to expect the same competitions next year, while it sounds like we will get more. Moreover, this must be one of the most fan ways to recruit more Hallmark Hunks!
