Hallmark has released a brief synopsis for the new season of When Calls the Heart as follows:

In Season 12 of When Calls The Heart, love flourishes for schoolteacher Elizabeth Thornton and Mountie Nathan Grant as they embrace the joy of new romance.

Meanwhile, intrepid reporter Rosemary Coulter and retired Mountie Bill Avery team up again to investigate a train robbery. Meanwhile, Governor Lucas Bouchard and Mayor Lee Coulter quite literally find common ground.

Moreover, the Hope Valley community comes together to celebrate and support each other in a season of finding passions, leaps of faith, and a lot of dancing.

What does this mean for Hearties?

Basically, this reveals that Hearties can expect a new mystery in season 12. Moreover, fans will get to see Elizabeth and Nathan’s romance. While there are no spoilers for a wedding this season, it seems they are enjoying their relationship.

However, Nathan may not find himself needing to help with a potentially unlawful situation. With the spoilers about a train robbery, this will lead to Rosemary and Bill teaming up again in season 12.
