Last October 2021, it was reported that Danica McKellar signed up for a four-picture deal under GAC Family and GAC Living. After her Hallmark exit, the actress expressed her excitement about doing a multi-picture deal and producing movies. “That’s really exciting for me as a storyteller. I love that,” she said.

She also mentioned that the President and CEO of GAC Media, Bill Abbott, made her so excited to show her creativity in telling stories. “In some ways, it feels more like Hallmark that probably if I were still Hallmark,” McKellar uttered. Abbott also stated his delight for the 47-year-old actress joining the network.

Danica McKellar Talks About Working with Candace Cameron Bure

Since she stepped foot on GAC Family, McKellar was looking forward to a lot of opportunities in her new network, just like creating content through their own application and sharing her faith journey. The “Crown for Christmas” star was also hoping for an all-female movie instead of the leading man and woman film.

When asked about the possibility of working with Candace Cameron Bure, the actress revealed that she’s always open to the idea. “I would love to do that, noting that she leans more toward projects that are uplifting and shows strength in characters,” she said.

Danica McKellar Finds Comfort from God During Tough Times

The “Love in Design” actress reflected on the death of a loved one and she shared how the Holy Spirit saved her heart from misery. She admitted how tough her life was after losing a member of the family, but knowing that she’s not alone, Danica McKellar was able to overcome one of her most painful days.

In a long post she shared on social media last month, the mother-of-one shared how she connected to the Holy Spirit to be able to find joy amidst the trials. “I have had moments of joy amidst this tragedy, absolutely because of connection to God,” she wrote. McKellar also reminded her followers that whatever religion people were in, everyone needs the Almighty.

Friends and family filled the comment section with love, saying: “So good, Danica! Thank you for sharing your faith journey. Praying for you and your family.” Another follower wrote, “I love that you’ve come to Jesus.”

    I am sad about her move. I enjoyed her movies. I am also excited for her new adventure. I just hope I can get them on direct TV for the same price I am paying now.
