As the battle between Hallmark Channel and GAC Family continues, the latter makes a major name change. In fact, GAC Family will soon be changing its moniker to Great American Family. Meanwhile, the network has also announced a new film, Love in Bloom, as part of its New Movie Saturday Nights event.
GAC Family changes Great American Family
In the ongoing battle between GAC Media and Hallmark Channel, a major change is coming in August. According to a press release, Bill Abbott, former CEO of Hallmark is renaming GAC Family to Great American Family. Moreover, GAC Living will be renamed Great American Living.
The network already has an ad-supported TV channel Great American Adventures. However, in September, it will launch the new app, Great American Community. Meanwhile, all of this comes under the banner Great American Media. This major change will become official on August 20, 2022.
Is Love In Bloom on GAC Family?
By the time Love In Bloom premieres, GAC Family will have officially changed its name to Great American Family. According to the official synopsis, Amelia (Susie Abromeit), appears to have a perfect life. She is a successful florist, living in Chicago, and has a boyfriend, Peter, who is about to pop the question. However, it could be that he has cold feet.
Meanwhile, Amelia has to travel to Australia, as her little sister is about to wed in Primrose River. However, it ends up with her and her fiancé being stranded at a mountain resort, days before the wedding. Now, Amelia is tasked with flying to the other side of the world to save the wedding.
Talking of the wedding, Amelia and Grayson Tanner (Julian Haig), who is the best man, have to tie up some last-minute details. They wonder whether to hire a three-piece orchestra or a Bluegrass band. Moreover, what sort of food will they serve? In comparison to serious-minded Amelia, Grayson is a little more whimsical in his choices. Meanwhile, he thinks she acts like an Instagram influencer. For her part, Amelia questions Grayson’s taste in everything. However, she finds the local gardens enchanting and eventually, so does Grayson.
