Good News For POstables On Hallmark Mystery Signed, Sealed, Delivered 12?

It has been a while since the last Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie premiered on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. However, now the channel has rebranded as Hallmark Mystery and only features mystery movies, this could be a chance for POstables to see their favorite stars again.

Fans will recall that Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lower and Geoff Gustavson star in the movie series. Is there any news for fans of a new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie?

Is a new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie coming to Hallmark Mystery?

Why are we writing about a possible new Signed, Sealed, Deliver movie? There are a couple of reasons, including an explanation for the delay from a Hallmark executive. However, there are also hints from some of the cast members, as well as a listing on Production Weekly.

On Tuesday, the Hallmark Mysteries & More podcast featured an in-depth interview with Lisa Hamilton Daily, EVP of Programming at Hallmark Media. After a series of questions relating to mystery movies, she explained the reasons for the delay on Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie no. 12. Daly pointed at delays relating to “logistics” that had kept them from filming another movie, saying:

You know, we hear the fans. They email me. Send me letters about some of the older ones and some of that is delayed. Hint hint Signed Sealed Delivered people, by logistics you know. it’s just it’s not on us. It’s literally on the people that produce the shows.

We are often at the mercy of other people bringing something back. Our actors leave, they want to do something different. Our writers are busy so we’re sort of working through trying to get around some of that stuff and sort of see what we can do.

Cast member on possible new SSD movie

Meanwhile, Monday saw a post on Instagram by Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe where she congratulated Kristen on directing her first movie, saying, “I can’t believe I got you in my first movie as a director.” While this related to the new Tyler Hynes movie, Shifting Gears, Kristin’s reply does hint at another Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie, as she wrote, “See you soon for our next adventure!”

Last but by no means least, the industry magazine Production Weekly revealed that Hallmark is making the twelfth movie. The alphabetical listing for March 7 clearly lists Signed, Sealed, Delivered 12.
