Good Witch Fans Beg Hallmark To Bring Back The Show After Seeing Hallmark’s Promo

As Good Witch fans know so well, Hallmark Channel canceled the beloved series at the end of season 7. At the time, fans came out in force to air their grievance over the cancelation of their favorite show.

Fast forward to now, and fans got to see the show’s iconic duo, Catherine Bell and James Denton, in a Hallmark Christmas movie.

After a promo was posted on Instagram by Hallmark, fans continue to beg the feel-good channel to bring back their favorite show.

Fans bombard Hallmark over Christmas on Cherry Lane promo

As reported here, a new, original Hallmark movie premiered on December 9 starring none other than Catherine Bell and James Denton in a movie reunion.

The movie is titled Christmas on Cherry Lane and stars the Good Witch actors in a story about three families celebrating the holidays.

Meanwhile, the movie aired as part of the feel-good network’s popular Countdown to Christmas programming event.

Around the time of the premiere, Hallmark went on Instagram to share a trailer for the movie and fans quickly saw the reunion of Bell and Denton in the holiday film.

In their caption to the Instagram post, Hallmark wrote:

This holiday, join three families as they navigate unexpected visitors, sentimental journeys, and heartwarming moments in #ChristmasOnCherryLane on Dec 9 at 8/7c.

Fan reactions to the Instagram post

Since Bell and Denton starred as Cassie Nightingale and Dr. Sam Radford respectively for seven seasons on Good Witch, it was clear that seeing the pair together again brought back the same feelings. This led to fans begging Hallmark to reboot the show.

One fan wrote, “Catherine and James will always be Sam and Cassie, bring back Good Witch ❤.” Another excited fan commented, writing, “Sooooo excited for this movie and to see these 2 amazing people back together again ❤. Yet another fan simply wrote, “Good Witch Reunion!!”

How does the cast think of the Good Witch?

The finale episode of Good Witch aired in July 2021, but that doesn’t mean the cast wouldn’t want to return to the show. Speaking to TV Insider in October 2022, Denton spoke of the possibility of reprising his role on the show, saying he believed it could happen sooner rather than later. He said:

I think there’s a chance. I know [with] the popularity of the show and the circumstances under which it ended… it would not surprise me if we revisit it.

While at this stage, there is no news of a revival of Good Witch, fans can keep hoping.
