‘When Calls the Heart Christmas’ is scheduled to air on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, bringing holiday joy into the homes of Hearties all across the world. Hope Valley residents always come together for Christmas, no matter what challenges they have faced or differences they have had throughout the year.

When Calls The Heart Christmas Spoilers

We see that Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) continues to charm his way into the hearts of is Hope Valley neighbors. Strolling through town, Lucas comes upon Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) enjoying a special treat. “A little more mustard, please,” Bill requests of a cart vendor as he purchases a sausage.

A devilish smile on his face Lucas approaches the cart and says to Bill, “Don’t forget the sauerkraut.” Bill isn’t a big fan of the pickled cabbage, but Lucas manages to get the lawman to try some. “You cannot have an authentic Bavarian sausage without sauerkraut.” A bit wary, Bill tells the vendor to go ahead, but only a tad.

Meeting Bill and Lucas at the sausage cart, Rosemary Coulter (Pascale Hutton) and Lee Coulter (Kavan Smith) happily see the town filled with laughter and noise from dozens of visitors. “This has actually come together quite well,” Rosemary, who has very high standards when it comes to celebrations, exclaims. Lee points out that they have Lucas to thank for it.

“This is much bigger than what I was expecting. You know I have people checked in from Union City to Cape Fullerton?” Lucas tells the Coulters. It’s a job well done in Rosemary’s eyes.

Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) meets up with everyone, baby Jack in tow. “This is quite the turnout,” Elizabeth excitedly observes. All this and Lucas didn’t even advertise, it’s all word of mouth. Good news about the festival certainly traveled fast, Rosemary observes.

Henry Gowan (Martin Cummins), of course, thinks Lucas’s motives are money-related. Having people coming from all around Canada makes for an increase in business threefold for Lucas.

A reprimand comes from Elizabeth, “Lucas went to a great deal of trouble to make sure everyone could enjoy the festival.” Lucas assures Lee, Rosemary, Elizabeth and Henry that was exactly what he wanted, the biggest and best Christmas festival that Hope Valley has ever seen.

‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 6 finale ended with Elizabeth choosing Lucas as her partner at the town dance. However, her eyes locked with Nathan Grant’s (Kevin McGarry) as the good-looking Mountie across the room.

Hearties are either Team Nathan or Team Lucas, as Elizabeth opens her heart to love again after Jack Thornton’s (Daniel Lissing) tragic death. Is there an unintentional motive behind Lucas making a very merry Christmas for all?

One of the things Elizabeth loved most about Jack was his ability to connect with her friends, bringing happiness to the residents of Hope Valley. Could Lucas’s efforts to make Christmas as merry as possible for so many be the key to Elizabeth’s heart?
