Hallmark 2023 Christmas Couple Talking Wedding Bells

During the 2023 Christmas in July programming event on Hallmark Channel, Katie Cassidy and Stephen Huszar starred in A Royal Christmas Crush.

Later on, after the movie aired, news leaked that the Hallmark couple had fallen in love in real life. In that movie, Huszar played a Scandinavian royal, while she played an architect, who fell in love at the incredible ice hotel. Fast forward to now, and Katie and Stephen are interested in taking the relationship to the next level.

Hallmark stars fall in love on the film set

The Hallmark Christmas movie, A Royal Christmas Crush saw the first time that Katie Cassidy and Stephen Huszar worked together. While on the set, they fell truly in love and are still together.

In an interview with Us Magazine, Katie spoke of the unexpected romance. Meanwhile, they decided to keep their relationship a secret to keep everything professional on the film set. Naturally, their chemistry in the Hallmark movie was clear to see and once it premiered, they revealed the truth of their romance.

Meanwhile, Katie didn’t expect to find love again after her divorce from Matthew Rogers which lasted only three years. Her new relationship caught the Hallmark actress by surprise. Cassidy said of Huszar:

He’s amazing. I’ve never really thought I would date another actor. He’s incredible. We’re very happy. It’s been amazing when you meet somebody and it just sort of makes sense. You didn’t even think it would or weren’t necessarily looking for it and then it sort of happened.

Is Katie Cassidy ready to marry Stephen Huszar and vice versa?

In the interview, Katie did admit that she is thinking of marriage, and said it was a “conversation I’ve had with myself.” After vowing never to love again, this is a surprising feeling.

Meanwhile, Stephen recently opened up to Heavy, saying that he is open to marriage, saying, “Yea, absolutely. So, yea. certainly, certainly that’s in the cards. Absolutely.”

Naturally, Katie and Stephen’s relationship isn’t the only one to happen on a Hallmark set.
