Lori Loughlin – Shares Her Good Deeds

As a result of the college admissions scandal, Lori Loughlin became the poster mom for overdoing her desire to get her daughters into a university. And the Hallmark alum avoided discussing the scandal on TV for some time. However, Loughlin finally ended her silence in a TV appearance this month, noted ET.

And Lori made her first non-acting TV speech for a good cause. Because of her pride in Project Angel Food, Loughlin discussed her efforts to end Los Angeles County’s food insecurity. For instance, the actress helps the charity deliver more than 1 million meals annually to those suffering from hunger. And Lori works with others to pack and deliver the meals.

“I’ve been working with Project Angel Food for a year and a half now,” revealed the actress. And she called it “one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I got to work everywhere. And I packed a lot of cereal, and I’ve packed a lot of fruit. Bags and bags of fruit.”

Lori Loughlin – Reflects On College Bribe Scandal

However, Loughlin also revealed how her volunteer work helped her after the college bribe scandal. And she recalled feeling “down and broken” when the news broke. But then the 57-year-old actress started delivering meals to those in need. “I have the same delivery route, once a week,” explained Lori. “And I see the same people, and it’s so nice to make that connection with those people. Often, they are unable to leave their homes.”

Because many felt isolated during the pandemic, Loughlin seeks to make a “human connection.” And she got emotional about the charity. “And I think that’s what Project Angel Food is,” added the Hallmark alum. “Working with people, who have hit a low in their life, facing extreme illness, or have lost their job during the pandemic, Project Angel Food, is there for them.” And for Lori, the charity became “a community [and] a family.”

“And all the people that work here are so wonderful,” gushed the actress. “They have welcomed me with such open arms at a time when I was feeling particularly down and broken. That’s how I found a home here, and that’s what I feel like they did for me, and that’s why I’m so proud to be here and working with this organization, because they really do care. It’s about loving people and helping people. And I think, that is so important, and I am so proud to be a part of Project Angel Food.”

I knew how she felt you could see it by her body language. She is a good Mother and she made a huge mistake. She learned a lot and lost a lot. How many more years is she going to be punished by those in power? You Celebrate someone who is sober for many years and we do too. You forgave that kind of action. She never once did not show up for work, she did her job and well. She was always a good co-worker why is she still be punished. She has been working with Project Angel Food far longer than her punishment and community service. What happened to this Country that we can’t forgive. Why do I need to even say that to her she did nothing to me. So Lori Loughlin I forgive you for making a huge mistake for what ever reason you chose to do it for. I really hope to see you back on TV and Movies again. I miss you a lot.
