Plot:

Dream Moms tells the story of Danielle (Mowry-Housley), a one-time off-Broadway performer and former backup singer. Meanwhile, Claire (Hobbs) is a once-aspiring dancer. Both women had major dreams of making it to the Broadway stage. Years later, after many failed auditions, Danielle is married to Mark (Cross) a successful lawyer. She has a daughter who is positioned for NYC ballet and living in the Upper East Side.

Meanwhile, Claire is a single mother, raising two sons and is working as a bookkeeper in the Garment District. Both women are so busy with motherhood, they have no time for themselves and have put off their own dreams.

However, Daniel’s brother RJ (Hampton) introduces the two women after Claire starts taking classes at his dance studio. It seems he is so impressed with Claire’s dance technique, he wants to bring them together to compete in a televised talent contest. As they begin practicing, Danielle and Claire start to regain their sense of self and passion they once had as performers.

However, when competing family priories arise and cause them to reconsider the contest, the two women ultimately realize they need to show up for themselves. In fact, both need to set an example for their children not to give up on their dreams. Once they compete in the contest, backed by the support of their families, Danielle and Claire find out it is never too late to become what you want to be.
