Hallmark Channel Announces Three Wise Men And A Baby Sequel

Hallmark fans will recall the huge success of the holiday movie, Three Wise Men and a Baby. The movie ended up being one of the most-watched movies of 2022. For that reason, fans can now celebrate as the three wacky hunks are back in a sequel titled Three Wiser Men and a Boy. Read on to find out what we know so far about this fun Christmas movie.

The three stars of one of Hallmark’s most-watched movies, Three Men and a Baby is back for a sequel. In the original movie, they played the Brenner brothers, who were estranged, but who came together to help take care of a baby. Having survived the experience of looking after a little one, they are set to star in a sequel, Three Wiser Men and a Boy.

The movie is currently in production and will premiere as part of Hallmark Channel’s 15th annual Countdown to Christmas programming event later this year.

The sequel takes off five years later, shortly before the Christmas holidays and involves a different boy. The logline reads as follows:

In a crazy turn of events, possibly brought on accidentally by the brothers themselves, the director of Luke’s (Walker) son Thomas’ (Miles Marthaller) school holiday musical steps down.

Luke is desperate to make his son’s stage dreams come true, so he enlists the help of his brothers Taylor (Hynes) and Stephan (Campbell). Meanwhile, the trio navigates meeting their mom Barbara’s (Margaret Colin) new boyfriend and the brothers grapple with their own feelings about this relationship.

In true Brenner brother fashion, they are all in for a Christmas they will never forget.

Meanwhile, Terry Ingram directs the movie from a script penned by Campbell, Kimberley Sustad and Russell Hainline.

About Hallmark’s Three Wise Men and a Baby

The original movie was a huge hit for Hallmark Channel and averaged 3.6 million viewers over the first four days. It went on to become the most-watched TV movie on cable for 2022.

While fans are no doubt celebrating the news of their three favorite Hallmark hunks working together again, Hallmark Channel is also celebrating. As noted by TV Insider, A Three Wise Men-themed mini-marathon is set to kick off on Friday at 7 pm, as part of the network’s Fa La La Fridays.

During the event, the network will air It’s Christmas, Eve, starring Hynes and LeAnn Rimes. It will also feature Christmas by Starlight, written by and starring Campbell and Sustad. Following this, naturally, Three Wise Men and a Baby will air again.

Jennifer Kramer, VP of Development, Hallmark Media spoke of the upcoming sequel, saying:

Viewers and critics alike fell for the charms of Paul, Tyler and Andrew as the Brenner brothers in Three Wise Men and a Baby. The one resounding thing we heard from them was that they wanted more.

We are excited to deliver and then some with a story that is filled with more humor and, most importantly, more heart.
