Hallmark Channel & Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Reveal 5 New May Movies

Five new movies are heading to Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries next month. Meanwhile, in between, new episodes of When Calls the Heart will also air before season 9 wraps on May 22. 1. Warming Up to You

Warming Up to You stars Kate Wolfe (Busby) as a fitness instructor who leaves Los Angeles to take a job at her best friend’s wellness retreat. However, to her surprise, A-list actor Rick Steele (Russell) is assigned by the studio to train with her for his new feature film. Meanwhile, not only does the pair make an athletic breakthrough, but they also break through some personal walls to form an unexpected friendship that is put at risk when Rick’s co-star is also sent to train with Kate.

2. Road Trip Romance

Cast: Natalie Hall, Corey Sevier

Premiere date: Saturday, May 14, at 8 pm ET/PT.

A young woman (Hall) is on a journey to attend her sister’s wedding when a series of unfortunate events keep delaying her journey. Meanwhile, she is forced to take the journey with the guy (Sevier) who was her biggest rival in high school. Can she get past their problems along the way?

3. Romance to the Rescue

Cast: Andrea Brooks, Marcus Rosner, Nathan Witte

Premiere date: Saturday, May 21, at 8 pm ET/PT.

Trevor (Witte) is the new manager of the grocery store where Kyra (Brooks) works. Meanwhile, he seems to check all the boxes when it comes to what she is looking for in love. However, when her well-meaning co-worker tells dog-loving Trevor that Kyra has an agility-trained dog, she plays along. Trevor is excited for Kyra to enter her dog in the upcoming agility contest the store is sponsoring. However, this leaves Kyra in a quandary, as she must adopt a dog and get him competition ready, right away. However, with the help of Mark (Rosner), the head of the dog rescue, she may be able to pull this off and learn some of her own lessons along the way.

Andie (Teegarden) is a cardiologist who is devastated over the accidental death of a patient (Massey). However, as she and his grieving mother (O’Grady) overcome their sorrow through forgiveness, both learn that acceptance leads to hope.

2. Rip in Time

Cast: Torrey DeVitto, Niall Matter

Premiere date: Sunday, May 22, at 9 pm ET/PT

According to ET, Sarah (DeVitto) is an organic farmer who meets a man (Matter) named Rip Van Winkle, Jr, who claims to have traveled from the year 1787. However, Sarah soon experiences old-fashioned romantic feelings that could be just as crazy as Rip’s story.
