Hallmark Channel – Second wave Of ‘Summer Nights’
Among the new “Summer Nights” movies are “The 27-Hour Day,” which is the sixth installment of the “Wedding March” franchise. Fans will also get to see “Love in the Afternoon” and the Bachelor-esque movie, “Love, For Real.” Last, but by no means least, “Sweet Pecan Summer” is last on the programming lineup for August 28.
As for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, starting August 1, the channel will start airing three of its mystery favorites, “Mystery 101, “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries” and “Murder, She Baked” along with new additions. Read more details of these summer treats below.
Hallmark Channel and ‘Summer Nights’
1. ‘Love for Real’
Premieres: Saturday, July 31, at 9 pm PT/ET
Hayley (Chloe Bridges) goes on a dating show with her friend Bree (Taiana Tully) in an effort to advance their careers. It turns out bachelor Marco (Corbin Bleu) and producer Luke (Scott Michael Foster) are planning for Hayley to make it through to the finale.
2. ‘The 27-Hour Day’
Premieres: Saturday, August 7, at 9 pm PT/ET
A business entrepreneur (Autumn Reeser) needs to take a break from developing her wellness empire, but finds out that the work-life balance she requires won’t be easy. Maybe a new romance and a relaxing retreat, where she meets a man (Andrew Walker) will change her life forever.
3. ‘Sealed With a Kiss: Wedding March 6’
Premieres: Saturday, August 14, at 9 pm PT/ET
Before getting married themselves, Mick (Jack Wagner) and Olivia (Josie Bissett) host a wedding for an A-list actor (Nathan Witte) and his fiancée (Caitlyn Stryker). However, the low-key celebration soon turns into something that is anything but, meaning Mick and Olivia struggle to pull it off. In the meanwhile, Mick gets an exciting offer that Olivia won’t let him turn down. This means they are faced with delaying their own wedding, until a last-minute change of plans give both couples the wedding of their dreams.
4. ‘Love In the Afternoon’ (Working Title)
Premieres: Saturday, August 21, at 9 pm PT/ET
Head writer, Maggie (Jen Lilley) needs to save her daytime soap drama from cancelation. To do so, she must convince Darin (Ryan Paevey), her real-life ex-boyfriend and fan-favorite actor, to come back to the show. Meanwhile, the creator and producer, Alice (Linda Dano) wants to retire and hopes to pass her job on to Maggie, if the soap can be saved.
5. ‘Sweet Pecan Summer’ (Working Title)
Premieres: Saturday, August 28, at 9 pm PT/ET
Amanda (Christine Ko) has to work with her former boyfriend, J.P. (Wes Brown), to sell her favorite aunt’s (Lauren Tom) pecan farm. As they work to put their differences aside, old feelings begin to rekindle and they both start to question their life paths.

1. ‘Mystery 101: Deadly History’
Premieres: Sunday, August 1, at 9 pm PT/ET
Travis (Kristoffer Polaha) and Amy (Jill Wagner) head to New York to investigate after Amy’s uncle goes missing, along with his research into the “accidental” death of a family heir 50 years ago. Also stars Robin Thomas.
2. ‘Sweet Revenge: A Hannah Swensen Mystery’
Premieres: Sunday, August 8, at 9 pm PT/ET
Starring: Alison Sweeney, Cameron Mathison, Barbara Niven
While Hannah (Alison Sweeney) and Mike (Cameron Mathison) enjoy their engaged life while balancing their busy careers, a murder at a 24-hour gym complicates their wedding planning. Also starring Barbara Niven.
3. ‘Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Honeymoon, Honeymurder’
Premieres: Sunday, August 22, at 9 pm PT/ET
Aurora (Candace Cameron Bure) and Nick (Niall Matter) are on a “pre-honeymoon” getaway when they discover a body. As the couple gets closer to finding out what really happened, danger knocks on their doorstep. Also starring Marilu Henner.
