About ‘Taking A Shot At Love’
This new Hallmark movie revolves around Jenna (PenaVega), who used to be a professional dancer. Unfortunately, an injury forced her to walk away from her dream. These days, she teaches a dance school, but the business is struggling. That is when her cousin introduces her to someone that could change everything. For one thing, the money she gets for helping a hockey player could get her dance school out of the red.
Ryan Cooper aka “Coop” (Mcfarlane) is a star hockey player for the New York Rangers. He gets hurt and it just happens to be the same injury that sidelined Jenna’s career. The two begin working together, but it’s a rough start. Coop doesn’t understand how ballet will help him get back on the ice. Eventually, he realizes that he won’t lose anything by trying Jenna’s unique therapy. However, if he does nothing, then he’s guaranteed to lose his professional hockey career.
As with all Hallmark movies, the two characters fall for each other. But when it’s time for Coop to go back to New York, Jenna will have to make some life-changing decisions.
Casting Details
In addition to PenaVega and Mcfarlane, “Taking a Shot at Love” will also have a few other actors in it. Jarrod Evanyshyn is an unnamed hockey player and Kaiel Barreiro is “hockey kid #1.” The casting details list actor Nolen Dubuc, but his character name isn’t revealed.
