Hallmark Channel News: Alison Sweeney Opens Up About Her Hallmark Network Project

Days of Our Lives star Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) is giving her fans a little inside glimpse into her fourth installment of her Hallmark Movies & Mysteries series called Chronicles Mysteries: The Deep End. With four movies down, Alison is definitely becoming a pro when it comes to the film making process. She told Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “I think what’s really fun about the fourth movie, different from the first one, is that we included a lot more of the personal relationships and took the opportunity to really kind of actually bring Alex and Drew a little closer together and focus a little more on the development of that relationship. As fun and important as the mystery is, we certainly get a chance to see more of Alex, who Alex is, what her backstory is. And we see it a bit through Drew’s eyes, him really getting to see that side of Alex.”

Feedback From The Fans

As far as the kind of feedback that she’s received from fans so far, Alison admits that it’s been quite positive so far. In fact, she’s enjoying being able to see the fans’ reaction and how much they are enjoying all of the characters.

She added, “For me, as much as I obviously feel a special attachment to Alex, I feel very attached to all of it. So when people love or quote any line from any of the movies or they love Chuck or comment on Eileen, I feel like a proud parent. It’s all so personal to me. The fans’ reaction has been awesome and so rewarding. I really love their enthusiasm for the story. We got a lot of positive feedback. People love the idea of a podcast and that device as a storytelling tool. So that’s been really fun. And the humor provided has been well received, too.”

Alison adds that she and the Hallmark channel are working on even one more series for the future. How exciting!
