Hallmark Channel News: Annual ‘Fall Harvest’ Includes The Love of Dogs Benefit Concert and 2019 American Humane Hero Dog Awards

The Hallmark Channel pays homage to canines during the annual ‘Fall Harvest’ of original movie premieres and special events. ‘The I Love of Dog Concert’ broadcast date is Monday, October 14, 2019 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

‘The Love of Dogs Concert,’ hosted by pet adoption expert Larissa Wohl (‘Home & Family’), will raise much-needed grant funds for the Pedigree Foundation as part of Hallmark Channel’s Adoption Ever After initiative. Over 35,000 pets have found their forever homes thanks to the generosity of Hallmark Channel viewers.

The event brings together country artists Lee Brice, Hunter Hayes and Easton Corbin for the benefit concert at the Country Music Hall of Fame CMA Theater.

The ‘2019 American Humane Hero Dog Awards’ premieres Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on the Hallmark Channel. Co-hosted by James Denton (Sam Radford, ‘Good Witch’) and bestselling author Beth Stern, the awards will once again honor the contributions dogs make to our lives.

The star-studded night offers an emotional celebration of heroes on both ends of the leash and honors outstanding working dogs around the country.

Tales of canine heroism, courage, emotional support, and guide work provide a heartwarming and moving evening as canine finalists in the categories of Law Enforcement/Arson, Guide/Hearing, Military, Search and Rescue, Service, Shelter, and Therapy dogs are celebrated for their contributions. The 2019 American Hero Dog is determined by nationwide popular votes and a panel of celebrity judges.

In between events honoring man’s best friend, the Hallmark Channel presents at the 10th Anniversary ‘Countdown to Christmas Preview Special’ hosted by Candace Cameron Bure. Halmarkies will get a final sneak peek at some of the 40 all-new original holiday-themed movies that will help make the season merry and bright. The ‘Countdown to Christmas 10th Anniversary Preview Special’ will air Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on the Hallmark Channel. The ‘Fall Harvest’ movie line up also includes a two-hour ‘Good Witch: Curse From A Rose’ Halloween special event.
