Hallmark Channel News: Candace Cameron Bure’s New Movie, ‘The Kite’ Features Two Huge Changes

Candace Cameron Hallmark Channel news confirms Candace Cameron Bure is staying busy for the feel-good network. She has another installment of “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries” that premieres in June 2021. Plus, the actress also mentioned she will be working on “The Kite.” We’ve already noticed two major factors that will make this project stand out from the rest.

‘Aurora Teagarden Mysteries’ – Til Death Do Us Part’

Hallmark Channel news states that Bure is well-known to Hearties. She has been on a long list of movies for the feel-good family network. The “Fuller House” cast member invited fans to ask her questions, then she responded via Instagram Stories. The actress was asked if she is working on any new productions besides the “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries” series. The most recent installment, “Til Death Do Us Part” premieres on Sunday, June 13 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Candace Cameron Bure’s New Movie

Hallmark Channel news reveals that on May 15, Bure was excited to share on Instagram Stories that she will be in “The Kite.” However, the movie has not been announced by the network yet and doesn’t have a press release written. Then, Bure’s Instagram Stories post was deleted, per Heavy.

“Yes! I’ll be filming a drama for Hallmark Channel this fall called ‘The Kite’. It probably won’t air until next year.”

Hallmark Channel News: 2 Big Changes

Even though no information on what the movie is about has been released yet, Bure did mention the future Hallmark movie is a drama. The network doesn’t show a lot of the genre. Most of the movies that air on Hallmark are romance. This might mark the beginning of a new chapter for Bure. In 2017, the actress indicated to Us Weekly that she was becoming more uncomfortable kissing other men on-screen. She also implied that her husband wasn’t a big fan of it, either.

“I’m getting more uncomfortable with it the older I get. I’m like, ‘I don’t want to keep doing this.’”

The other big change that we picked up on is that “The Kite” has nothing to do with Christmas. Hearties know that Bure has starred in an extensive number of holiday-themed movies for Hallmark.

Since the network likes programming blocks with themes, we are thinking that “The Kite” might have something to do with springtime, going on an adventure, or maybe even becoming “free” from something.” The Kite” might also reference children, so Bure’s character could be a parent or teacher.
