Hallmark Channel – New Mystery Series
According to reports, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries has announced that they are developing an all new mystery series called Mysteries of Martha’s Vineyard. It will star Chesapeake Shores actor Jesse Metcalfe. The announcement was made earlier this week as part of Crown Media Family Networks’ bi-annual Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour.
Apparently, the network is looking forward to working with Jesse on the new series. Could it be that he might become the face of the hit movie channel soon? That’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder! After all, he’s got everything that you could expect in a leading man: good looks, a sexy smile, and of course, lots of talent!
A Part Of The Hallmark Family
“We couldn’t be happier to continue working with star Jesse Metcalfe, who has been a part of the Hallmark family for years,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming & Network Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks.
This is exciting news for Jesse’s fans. Aside from his work on daytime television, Jesse also starred in the hit primetime show Dallas and of course, many fans remember him from his role as John Rowland in Desperate Housewives. After all, who can forget all of those scenes he had with The Young and the Restless alum Eva Longoria, right? He also had a small role in Smallville and starred in the Hollywood movie, John Tucker Must Die.
Hallmark Channel News – A 2020 Premiere
It’s great to see that Jesse is still working very hard in the industry. We can’t wait to see him in Mysteries of Martha’s Vineyard and will definitely update you with more information as it comes in. For now, we do know that the all-new movie is expected to premiere in 2020 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. We can’t wait to see it for ourselves!

Understand he has a following though seriously, the new male face of Hallmark not. There are so many other excellent choices.
Jesse’s acting is sterile – lackluster. Currently when he appears on Chesapeake Shores, I’m distracted with something else or if it’s recorded, fast forward through his scene. Plus, the fast forward doesn’t seem to lose anything of the storyline.
Wish him well, hope it works out and its simply the role/script in Chesapeake Shores that is lacking to have him stand out.
Is Chesapeake coming back?
