What is ‘Love At Daisy Hills’ About?

Busby plays a woman named Jo and her family owns a general store in Daisy Hills, which was built by her mother. The business is losing money, so her father, Duke (Paul Essiembre) calls in a favor. However, the person that Duke calls just happens to be Jo’s former flame, Blake (Marshall Williams), who is now a New York business consultant. They end up getting into a heated discussion about how to save the general store.

Jo understands that the business needs a personal touch because it is located in a small town. However, Blake is just focused on the store making a big profit. The two end up meeting in the middle and then find themselves falling back in love. Then, Blake gets a phone call about his dream job in the Big Apple. Things begin to crumble once again, which forces Blake and Jo to make a difficult decision.

According to the official website for Marvista Entertainment, in addition to Busby, Williams, and Essiembre, Jade Michael also stars in this movie.

The trailer for “Love at Daisy Hills” has been posted to Marvista’s official website. It shows the small-town residents struggling to afford the cost of the products. Jo explains that the vendors keep raising the prices on them. When an elderly woman stresses about being able to afford her purchase, Jo tells her,

“You know what, go ahead and take it for now.”

It seems that this might be where the store is failing. However, what do Jo and her family do when the small-town residents can’t afford the products? How can they reach a compromise to bring in a profit without making it impossible for the residents to pay their bills? How will this affect Jo rediscovering an old love? What will Blake decide is more important — his dream job or his dream girl?

“Love at Daisy Hills” premieres on September 19 at 9/8 pm Central.
