About Christmas Under the Stars

This Hallmark movie centers around a man named Nick (Jesse Metcalfe) who is focused on his high-powered career as an investment banker. However, he is fired around the holidays. So, he takes a job at a Christmas tree lot, which is ran by a kind widow. While there, he meets Julie (Autumn Reeser), who is an astronomy teacher. Julie has always looked up at the stars to get a little hope.

Eventually, Nick gets infected by the holiday spirit and he begins falling for Julie. Once a selfish career-focused man, he starts to realize the joy of helping others.

Jesse Metcalfe on Dallas and Passions

If Metcalfe’s face and name look familiar, it’s because he appeared on two soap operas. One of those is Dallas, in which he portrayed Christopher Ewing. According to IMDB.com, he played the character in 40 episodes.

The other daytime series that he was known for as Passions. He actually played two characters on that soap opera. His main role was that of Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald. However, he also appeared as Manuel Goncalves in flashbacks. He was on the series from 1999-2004.

Besides Christmas Under the Stars and his daytime roles, Jesse Metcalfe has several other credits to his name. These include Smallville, John Tucker Must Die, Desperate Housewives, The Latin From Manhattan, Mysteries of Martha’s Vineyard and Chesapeake Shores.
