Hallmark Channel News: Did Cameron Mathison Leave Home and Family?Say it isn’t so! There’s a new report that suggests television personality and former daytime television star Cameron Mathison might be making some major changes in his life right now. Or at least in his career. That’s because there’s speculation that the multi-talented television personality might have left his role in the Hallmark channel popular daytime magazine show, Home and Family. Here’s what we know so far.

According to TV Insider, fans have no reason to worry because while Cameron hasn’t been on the show for quite some time, that doesn’t mean he’s been fired or parted ways with the network. Instead, he’s simply busy working on other projects at the moment, including an exciting new Hallmark Christmas movie.

As a matter of fact, Cameron himself managed to ease his fans’ concerns by posting a clip with Debbie Matenopoulosthis past week on Instagram. “I’m so excited,” he said of the movie, but added, “I’ve got mixed emotions. I’m going to miss you guys so much.”

Cameron then assured that he will be back on Home and Away in no time, while Debbie said that they will be checking in on him from time to time to see how things are going on the set of the movie. She also called him an amazing co-host before showing him all of the wonderful messages of support that he has received from fans.

Back in 2017, Cameron opened up about his life as a father and how he often has to juggle his career with his responsibilities at home. But according to the father-of-two, he’s not complaining. He loves his life just the way it is.

“Like I said, before they came along, I lived a pretty selfish existence,” he told Soap Opera Digest in an interview. “I pretty much did whatever I wanted, but it really wasn’t that fulfilling. That shift of focus from oneself to another, in this case to my son and daughter, was the most powerful thing in the world for me. It gives me so much more joy than sitting around thinking about what I’m going to do next, what’s my schedule, when’s my next golf game. You can have incredible meaning in your life without being a parent, but for me, becoming one was the beginning of understanding pure joy.”
