Hallmark Channel news reveals that “Her Pen Pal” follows an event planner (Jansen) who gets the chance to reconnect with her French pen pal from childhood (Sasse). At the time, she was in Paris helping plan her best friend’s wedding. The new movie is part of the network’s Summer Nights programming block, which kicks off in June.

“Victoria is an elite wedding planner who has a tight-knit circle of friends, and she’s looking forward to being maid of honor at her best friend’s destination wedding in Paris. But when the best man, who is also her ex and the man she was supposed to marry, announces that he’s bringing a date, Victoria is shocked and a little hurt. After reconnecting with her French pen pal, Jacques, Victoria finds herself with a new plus-one for the wedding week. As they spend time together, it becomes obvious that Jacques and Victoria’s old puppy love might bloom into something more in the City of Lights.”
