About Holiday Date

According to the Hallmark Channel website, the Christmas romance revolves around a woman named Brooke (Brittany Bristow) who gets dumped right before the holidays. She ends up agreeing to go home with an actor named Joel (Matt Cohen) who will pretend to be her boyfriend. She built her ex up to be the perfect man as as as “Mr. Christmas.” However, she soon discovers that Joel is Jewish and has never celebrated Christmas.

Despite her concerns, what he doesn’t know about the holiday he makes up for with enthusiasm and does his best. Eventually, his secret is exposed. Despite this, Brooke’s family joyfully adds his Hanukkah traditions into their Christmas celebration.
