Good Witch has been a popular comedy-drama on the Hallmark Channel for five, full seasons. The good news is that our wait is almost over – season 6 will be airing from Sunday, May 3, 2020.

What can fans expect from Good Witch season 6?

Good Witch first premiered on April 28, 2015 and was instantly well-received by viewers. Each year, the comedy-drama was renewed for a further season, with the last being season 5 in June 2019.

As a reminder, Good Witch tells the story of Cassie (Catherine Bell) and her daughter Grace (Bailee Madison), living in the town of Middleton. Both mother and daughter are gifted with magical sight and intuitions. They befriend newbies Dr. Sam Radford (James Denton) and his son Nick (Rhys Matthews Bond).

At first, fans had no idea when the new season was to launch, but now it has been confirmed Good Witch season 6 will start on May 3. The spring start to the show looks like it could have a total of 10 episodes to enjoy, as with previous seasons.

Who will star?

Sadly, Bailee Madison left the Good Witch at the end of season 5, as her character, Grace left for college. However, the rest of the cast will be returning to the magical show. Besides those already mentioned, cast members will include Sarah Energy as Abigail Pershing, Catherine Disher as Marta Tinsdale and Kylee Evans as Stephanie Borden. There are also likely to be recurring cast members from previous seasons, although nothing official has been confirmed as yet.

What will happen in season 6 of Good Witch?

While we won’t see Grace this season, the storyline will cover the growing relationship between Cassie and handsome Dr. Sam. How Grace’s former storyline will be covered is at present unknown.

In the teaser trailer for Good Witch season 6 below, Cassie tells us that the enchantment returns. We see Cassie and Dr. Sam sharing a kiss over a dinner table at night, while Dr. Sam tells her she has the “magic touch,” and Cassie tells him “so do you.”

According to the cast, we will be seeing “new faces,” “bewitching surprises” and it will all be “delightfully fun.” Enjoy all this and more on the Hallmark Channel at 9 pm/8c on May 3, 2020.
